Durham budget open house tomorrow, day after

The Regional Municipality of Durham is hosting two Budget Open Houses to provide community members an opportunity to learn more about the region’s Property Tax Supported Business Plans and Budgets; to gain an increased understanding of the Region’s programs and services; and to provide their input on priorities for 2020.

The timing for the evening drop-in session has been extended and new presentation time scheduled for Wednesday, November 13.

The presentation and question and answer sessions for both Open Houses will also be livestreamed on the Region’s Facebook page and on durham.ca.

First Open House

  • When: Tuesday, November 12, 2019
  • Drop-in session: Employees will be available between 2 to 4 p.m. and 5:30 to 7 p.m. to provide information on the programs and services provided by the Region of Durham and receive the community’s input on priorities for the Region’s 2020 Budget.
  • Presentation: To begin at 7 p.m. followed by an opportunity for community members to ask questions and provide their input on priorities for the Region’s 2020 Budget.
  • Where: Room LL-C, The Regional Municipality of Durham Headquarters, 605 Rossland Road East, Whitby.

Second Open House

  • When: Wednesday, November 13, 2019
  • Drop-in session: Employees will be available between 2 to 4 p.m. and 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. to provide information on the programs and services provided by the Region of Durham and receive the community’s input on priorities for the Region’s 2020 Budget.
  • Presentation: To begin at 7:30 p.m. followed by an opportunity for community members to ask questions and provide their input on priorities for the Region’s 2020 Budget.
  • Where: Scugog Community Recreation Centre, 1655 Reach Street, Port Perry.
