Two held after fleeing from police stop

Two people are facing charges after they fled from police in Oshawa overnight.

On January 28 at 12:30 am, members from Central East Division observed a vehicle with front-end damage. Officers attempted to pull the vehicle over but the female driver failed to stop for police. The vehicle continued to drive off and eventually stopped in a residential area. The male passenger jumped out and fled on foot, but was arrested shortly after. He was wanted on an outstanding warrant, said a police media release.

Eralia Mondria, age 28 of Charter Crescent in Oshawa, is charged with Flight from Police. She was released on an Undertaking.

Adam Odette, age 35 of Nonquon Road in Oshawa is charged with Fail to Appear. He was held for a bail hearing.
