Vehicle mischief-maker’s car slams 3 police cruisers

A 26-year-old male has been charged with a number of mischief incidents that occurred in central Oshawa over the past two weeks.

On Saturday, October 5, officers from Central East Division identified the suspect and were attempting to locate him when he was spotted getting into a vehicle in a parking lot on Avenue Street. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle; however, the driver hit three police vehicles as it attempted to flee the scene.

Two males exited the vehicle and ran into a nearby apartment building. The two females remaining in the vehicle were arrested by police. A short-time later, the two males were also placed under arrest. One of the males was the suspect wanted for multiple mischief incidents in which parked vehicles were vandalized.

Kyle Reher of Avenue Street in Oshawa, is charged with: Mischief Under $5,000 x20. He was held for a bail hearing.

Jessica Capesky, age 38 of Oshawa, is charged with: Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Assault with a Weapon; Drive While Under Suspension; Flight from Peace Officer; and Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance x2 (cocaine and heroin). She was held for a bail hearing.

Kristina Casa Morais, age 28 of NFA, is charged with: Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance (heroin) and Fail to Comply with Undertaking. She was held for a bail hearing.

Tremaine Daley-Hyatt, age 24 of Dragonfly Avenue in Pickering, is charged with: Fail to Comply with Probation Order x2. He was released on a Promise to Appear.
