Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) officers had to deal with a “very irate male” on Friday night, which ultimately led to his arrest.
While on a tweet-along patrol, the K9 Unit reported that officers responded to an ‘unwanted person’ call. “This unwanted person call resulted in an arrest and a very irate male. He was escorted off the property. Male is facing several charges now,” said a police tweet.
The incident was captured on the officer’s Body Worn Camera depicting the verbal abuse from the suspect to the officers and staff at this facility.
“Great work on the officer’s part to maintain his composure and effect the arrest professionally without any issues,” the K9 Unit tweet added.
The incident took place near Westney Road and Bayly Street in Ajax.
