Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) West Division is investigating after a male attended Ajax-Pickering Hospital with a serious stab wound early yesterday morning.
On Friday, August 28, 2020 at approximately 6:30 am, officers were called to the hospital after the victim and his male friend walked into the emergency ward. The victim was suffering from a serious, but non-life threatening stab wound, police said.
The 28-year-old victim told police he was walking in south Ajax when he was stabbed. Very few details were provided. Investigators believe this may have happened in the Southwood or Clover Ridge neighbourhoods of south Ajax.
