The Works Department yesterday announced lane restrictions on Brock Road (Regional Road 1), in the City of Pickering due to a watermain break.
When: Ongoing until repairs are complete.
Where: One southbound lane on Brock Road, south of Bayly Street (Regional Road 22) near Feldspar Court, in Pickering.
Why: To repair a broken watermain.
Note: Residents and businesses in the immediate area may experience a water service interruption or decrease in water pressure during the repair. When the water service returns to normal, it is important for customers to turn on a cold water tap only and let it run for approximately five to 10 minutes to clean out any sediment that may have accumulated in your water service. This will avoid any sediment entering the hot water system.
