The Town of Whitby has announced restricted access to the Whitby waterfront from Thursday, December 3, 2020 to Saturday, December 12, due to filming by Phoenix Productions Inc.
Below is the schedule of filming dates and restricted locations:
- Thursday, December 3 to Saturday, December 12: main pier and Old Pump House parking lots will be closed
- Sunday, December 6 to Friday, December 11: a portion of Lake Park and Water Street (south side) will be off limits
To ensure public parking is available during filming, the town is offering additional public parking in the municipal lot on the north side of Water Street (across from the Old Pump House). There will be additional signage on site to help direct traffic; please do not enter restricted zones.
As a reminder, the pier and seasonal parking lots, including the lot at Kiwanis Heydenshore Park, remain closed to residents from November to April (subject to weather conditions).
