Oshawa Fire Services (OSF) had to swing into action on New Year’s Day after a woman fell down a cliff and hurt herself.
The incident happened early afternoon in Oshawa.
“Crews on scene at Park Rd. S and Stone St. for the report of person who has fallen down the cliff. The Technical Rescue team are in the process of bringing the victim to safety,” said a tweet from Oshawa Fire Services
A few minutes later, another tweet said the woman was rescued safely.
“Our Technical Rescue team has successfully brought the victim to safety and turned over care to @DurhamParamedic. Great job by everyone involved!”
