37-year old shot at home, no suspect info as yet

Durham Police yesterday said a 37-year-old male victim is recovering after being shot at a home in Caesarea in the Township of Scugog.

On Saturday, July 6 at about 3:55 am, members from multiple divisions responded to reports of a shooting in the area of Summit Drive and Cedar Grove Drive.

Once on scene officers located a male suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local area hospital and then airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre where he remains in life-threatening condition, police said.

It said there is no suspect information at this time.
