
At the three year anniversary of the shooting of a 17-year old boy in Pickering, police are requesting that anyone with any information about the homicide to come forward.
On Sunday, June 18, 2023, around 9:40 pm, members of West Division responded to a shooting at a housing complex located at 1580 Kingston Road.
Officers arrived on scene and located one male who had been shot. Officers and paramedics performed life-saving measures; however, the male, later identified as Anthony Dixon, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
It is believed that the shots were fired from a vehicle that then fled the area.
Yesterday marked three years since Anthony’s tragic death, and police are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time of the altercation or who may have any information to come forward.
