58-year old man dies after crashing into a tree

Durham Police said a 58-year-old male is deceased after a single motor vehicle collision in Brock Township.

On Monday, January 23 at around 7:10 am, members from North Division were called to Lake Ridge Road and Ravenshoe Road, for a single vehicle collision. The lone male left the roadway, driving the vehicle into a ditch and struck a tree. The male driver was pronounced deceased at the scene by emergency services, said a police statement.

Members of the DRPS Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The roads in the area were closed for several hours while evidence was collected.
