Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday said they had found a man with stab wounds in Pickering.
The police are on scene at Front Road and Commerce Street for a disturbance, said a police tweet.
“One male suffering from a stab wound has been transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre in stable condition. Please avoid the area,” it added.
No further details were available till late last night.
Meanwhile, DRPS said Lake Ridge Road was closed between Ravenshoe Road and Brock Concession Road 6 for an collision investigation.
It was later reopened.
