81 townhouses planned for Shankel Road

A common elements draft plan for a condominium of 81 townhouse dwellings has been submitted to the Oshawa city council.

The common elements generally include a private roadway, visitor parking, landscaped open space, a water meter building, an amenity area, sidewalks and a community mailbox.

D.G. Biddle & Associates Limited on behalf of Treasure Hill submitted the plan for lands at the northwest corner of Shankel Road and Townline Road North.

The Oshawa Development Services Committee will be considering the above referenced application for the lands [as shown shaded on the map below]. The application has been determined to be complete.

The lands are also subject to an application for Site Plan Approval and an application for Committee of Adjustment Approval for a minor variance.

A Planning Act public meeting will be held virtually regarding the application on October 5 at 6:30 pm.

The meeting is open to the public and delegation requests to speak to this matter are required to be submitted no later than 4:30 pm on September 30, 2020 by contacting City Clerk Services in writing at clerks@oshawa.ca.

Members of the public are also invited to submit correspondence concerning this matter.
