The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents that a portion of Northern Dancer Drive in the City of Oshawa will be closed next week for construction.
When: Monday, July 5 at 6 a.m. to Friday, July 9 at 6 a.m. Unfavourable weather conditions may extend the closure.
Where: Northern Dancer Drive will be closed east of Simcoe Street North, in Oshawa.
Why: To complete road reconstruction work within the intersection in a safe and efficient manner.
Note: Traffic detour signs will be posted in advance of the closure. The Region recognizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
