Dune buggy driver loses control, two seriously injured

Two men were seriously injured in a single off-road motor vehicle collision in Clarington.

On Wednesday, September 10 at about 9:25 pm, members from East Division responded to a single motor vehicle collision in the area of Clarington Concession Road 10 and Bowmanville Avenue.

Two adult males were in a dune buggy on a dirt road trail when the driver lost control and the vehicle rolled over. The males were transported to local area hospitals before being air lifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre in serious life-threatening condition. Both have since been updated to stable condition, police said.
