Group of men force way into home, use firearm threat

Durham police are looking for multiple suspects after an armed home invasion in Whitby.

On Tuesday, October 21 at about 4:30 am, members of Central West Division responded to a home invasion in the area of William Davidson Street and Nurse Court. The caller reported that multiple males forced their way into the residence and threatened the victim with a firearm.

The suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival.

The victim suffered no physical injuries, police said.

At this time, investigators believe the incident to be isolated.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with video footage, including dashcam to contact police.
