Woman stabbed in Clarington in Toronto trauma centre

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) on Friday advised of a large police presence in the area of Lakebreeze Drive and Toronto Street in Newcastle for a stabbing investigation.

A female has been transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre in serious condition. A male is in police custody, and there is no concern for public safety.
