Police look for armed robber who hit Little Caesars

Durham police is searching for a male after he made threats with a knife and stole cash from a business in Whitby.

On Saturday, March 7, members of Central West Division responded to an armed robbery at the Little Caesars restaurant located at 965 Dundas Street West that occurred at around 7:10 pm.

A male entered the business and threatened employees with a knife while demanding cash from the register. The suspect fled the area prior to police arrival.

No employees suffered any physical injuries, police said. They did not mention if any money was stolen.

The suspect is described as: male, Black, approximately 6’2”-6’3” tall, with a medium build.

Anyone who was in the area between 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 pm, with cell phone, dash cam, surveillance footage or information about this incident is asked to contact the Auto Robbery Crime Unit at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 5355.
