21-year old Oshawa stabbing suspect in police custody

Durham Police yesterday said a 21-year old male has been arrested after a stabbing in Oshawa.

On Friday, December 5, at around 1:10 am, members from Central East Division responded to a stabbing at a residence in the area of Olive Avenue and Albert Street.

Officers arrived on scene and located one victim suffering from a stab wound. The victim was transported to a local area hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect was arrested on scene without incident, police said. He was held for a bail hearing. Name and further details available at drps.ca.

Investigators believe this is an isolated incident.
