Durham police yesterday said two males are facing charges after stealing copper wiring in Oshawa.
On Tuesday, December 9, officers from DRPS East Crime Team concluded an investigation into ongoing copper theft from a business in the area of King Street East and Charles Street.
Two males have now been arrested and are facing a number of charges. A large amount of stolen wiring has been recovered.
One male aged 56 of no fixed address was held for a bail hearing. The other male aged 38 of Whitby was released on an undertaking. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
