Durham police box-in stolen vehicle, arrest 18-year old

Durham police said a male was arrested Tuesday morning in Pickering after being found in a stolen vehicle.

On Tuesday, December 9 around 4:45 pm, members of West Division responded to the area of Arathorn Court and Melman Street after receiving reports of a stolen vehicle in the area.

Officers located the occupied vehicle, successfully blocked it in, and arrested the male driver without incident.

The male aged age 18, of Pickering, was charged and held for a bail hearing. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
