Ajax stunt driver licence suspended, bike impounded

Durham Regional police services (DRPS) said two sports bikers were caught raccing in Ajax last week.

Police received a call about a motorbike race down Finley Avenue. The drivers were speeding, doing wheelies and one of them was not wearing a helmet.

Members of the DRPS Traffic Division and West Division went to the scene and caught the two drivers.

A 28-year old Ajax resident was charged with careless driving without plates or insurance and failing to wear a helmet. He receied a seven-day licence suspension and 14-day bike impound.

The other man was charged with careless driving.
