Armed robber flees on bicycle with looted cash

Durham Police investigators are looking for a male suspect in an armed robbery of a convenience store in Oshawa Sunday evening.

On March 7 at about 5:20 pm, members of Central East Division were called to Bob’s Convenience store on Bloor Street West in Oshawa. The suspect who was armed with a black handgun, entered the store and made a demand for cash from the employee. The suspect stole a quantity of cash and fled on a bicycle from the scene, police said.

The victim did not receive any physical injuries. Officers searched the area for the suspect, with negative results.

The suspect is described as male wearing a black coat, baggy blue jeans, dark sunglasses, a black balaclava to cover his face and green gloves. The suspect was armed with a black handgun.
