Man drowns at Frenchman’s Bay in Pickering

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) last evening reported a death by drowing at Frenchman’s bay in Pickering.

It said members of the DRPS West Division responded to Frenchman’s Bay in Pickering at approximately 3:30 pm for a drowning.

“A male in his 30s was swimming and dissappeared under the water. The victim was eventually located and CPR was performed. The male was unfortunately pronounced dead,” it added.

No futher details were available till late last night.
