It is that time of the year that when the sun shines, it shines perhaps a bit too bright for drivers.
Point noted by Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS), who have issued an alert for motorists to be careful driving when facing the sun.
“Be aware of the glare,” advised officers of the DRPS Central West Division.
“With recent sunny skies and snow on the ground, DRPS is reminding motorists to drive with caution to decrease the risk of collisions,” it said.
Sunglasses are recommended.
