A Bowmanville man was rushed to hospital early yesterday morning suffering from multiple stab wounds, police said.
On August 18 at about 3 am, officers were called to a residence in the Liberty Street North/Longworth Avenue area of Bowmanville regarding a male who had been stabbed. The 22-year-old male was suffering from multiple stab wounds and was rushed to a Toronto trauma centre. His wounds are considered to be non-life threatening, said a police statement.
Initial information received indicated that the male was involved in a disturbance outside of the residence with several males when the stabbing occurred. The victim then came into the house and emergency services were called.
