Whitby Mayor Don Mitchell recently honoured Brooklin Legion President Jim McGrorey with a Ministry if Transportation recognition.
After presenting an honour plaque, Mayor Mitchell congratulated McGrorey.
“As one of the founders of Whitby RoadWatch, he has received an outstanding award of achievement as Volunteer of the Year for Road Safety from the Ministry of Transportation. Well done Jim,” said Mayor Mitchell in a tweet.
