Cigarette buyer pulls out gun and demands till cash

Durham Police are looking for a male suspect after a gas station was robbed at gun point in Ajax.

On December 13 at about 3:45 am, members of West Division responded to an armed robbery at the Shell Gas Station, located at 115 Salem Road South in Ajax.

A male entered the gas station and requested cigarettes for purchase. The victim opened the cash register to complete the transaction and the suspect brandished a firearm, demanding all the cash from the till. The suspect fled prior to police arrival. The victim did not sustain any physical injuries, said police.

The suspect is described as: male, White, medium build, approximately 6’0”. He was dressed in a black jacket, with black pants.
