Harmony Trail has become the latest victim of storm damage.
The City of Oshawa said due to a hazardous tree the trail was closed on Friday June 12 until further notice.
Where: Harmony Trail from Adelaide Street East to Bond Street East
All closures have been identified with gates or barricades and signage. Residents are reminded to use caution and report any other hazards, the city said.
Lane restrictions on Harwood Avenue North in Ajax
The Regional Municipality of Durham advised residents of lane restrictions on Harwood Avenue North in the Town of Ajax.
- When: Ongoing until November 2020.
- Where: Southbound lanes of Harwood Avenue North, from Kerrison Drive West to Rossland Road West in Ajax will be closed with all traffic shifted east of the centre median. Two-way traffic will be maintained in the northbound lanes for the duration of construction.
- Why: Watermain construction.
Note: Hibbard Drive, Fishlock Street and Rossland Road West may be closed temporarily to facilitate road crossings and connection to existing infrastructure.
Lane restrictions on King Avenue West at Rudell Road in Newcastle
The Regional Municipality of Durham announced lane restrictions on King Avenue West at Rudell Road, in the community of Newcastle in the Municipality of Clarington. One lane in each direction will be maintained at all times.
- When: Ongoing until July 13.
- Where: King Avenue West at Rudell Road in Newcastle.
- Why: To safely install a watermain.
Gord Vinson Avenue to close June 22 to July 17
Gord Vinson Avenue will close from Fenning Drive to Eastfield Crescent, between June 22 and July 17, 2020, for underground services work.
A detour will be available via alternate local roads.
