The Town of Whitby has announced that Cochrane Street, north of Taunton Road West will be closed to all public traffic beginning Wednesday, November 6 at 7 am to Friday, November 8 at 5 pm.
This closure is to facilitate the servicing for the Cedar City subdivision development, said a town statement.
Cullen Central Park will remain open during this closure, however, pedestrian and vehicular access into the south entrance of park along Cochrane Street from north of Taunton Road West will be unavailable for the period of the road closure.
Access into Cullen Central Park will remain available through Heber Down Conservation Area by using the asphalt trail that starts at Ashburn Road.
