Construction starts on condo complex in heart of Courtice

Clarington has announced that construction has officially begun at 1607 Highway 2 to build a condominium complex in the heart of Courtice.

The six-storey midrise building will be situated with easy access to the downtown area and is a wonderful investment in the community and the people who live there, said a municipal statement.

These artist renderings of the project (above and below) display the exterior, as well as the anticipated party rooms and coworking spaces.

The complex, named, Mondria 1, will incorporate cutting-edge Canadian smart technology and innovation, according to the developer Monde Development Group.

The company has partnered with Toronto’s 1valet to bring high-tech living experience. For example, unit holders can open their door using advanced secure biometric systems, said a company statement. Climate control from phone will be via Ecobee.
