11 new cases raise Durham Covid-19 count to 29

Durham Health Department yesterday announced that it is actively following up on 29 positive cases of Covid-19 in the region. Home locations of most of the infected patients were not revealed.

Meanwhile, Ontario announced the third possible Novel Coronavirus death. No further details were made available on Ontario Covid-19 webpage. Earlier, it was reported that a male in his 50s died in Halton. and another potential Covid-19 death was reported in Barrie.

Durham Cases:

  1. A 55-year old male who returned from travel to New York state tested positive on March 20. He is at home on self-isolation, where he will remain for the duration of his recovery.
  2. A 38-year old female tested positive on March 20. She is at home on self-isolation, where she will remain for the duration of her recovery.
  3. A 60-year old male tested positive on March 20. He is at home on self-isolation, where he will remain for the duration of his recovery.
  4. A 41-year old female who returned from travel to New York state on March 14, tested positive on March 20. She is at home on self-isolation, where she will remain for the duration of her recovery.
  5. A 75-year old male tested positive on March 20. He is currently hospitalized at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
  6. A 48-year old male tested positive on March 21. He is currently hospitalized at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
  7. A 77-year old female tested positive on March 21. She is at home on self-isolation, where she will remain for the duration of her recovery.
  8. A 46-year old man who returned from travel to the United States tested positive on March 21. He is at home on self-isolation, where he will remain for the duration of his recovery.
  9. A 48-year old male tested positive on March 21. He is currently hospitalized at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
  10. A 48-year old female tested positive on March 21. She is at home on self-isolation where she will remain for the duration of her recovery.
  11. A 62-year old female tested positive on March 21. She is at home on self-isolation where she will remain for the duration of her recovery.
  12. A 33-year old woman tested positive on March 18. She is at home on self-isolation, where she will remain for the duration of her recovery.
  13. An 80-year old female resident of Hillsdale Terraces long-term care home in Oshawa, tested positive on March 18. She remains in the home on isolation, where she will remain for the duration of her recovery.
  14. A 68-year old male resident of Hillsdale Terraces long-term care home tested positive on March 18. He remains in the home on isolation, where he will remain for the duration of his recovery.
  15. A 71-year old male resident of Hillsdale Terraces long-term care home tested positive on March 18. He remains in the home on isolation, where he will remain for the duration of his recovery.
  16. A 92-year old female resident of Hillsdale Terraces long-term care home tested positive on March 18. She remains in the home on isolation, where she will remain for the duration of his recovery.
  17. A 55-year old female tested positive on March 19. She is at home on self-isolation where she will remain for the duration of her recovery. Her residence location was not revealed.
  18. A 51-year old female tested positive on March 18. She is currently hospitalized at Lakeridge Health Ajax Pickering.
  19. A 42-year old man tested positive on March 17. He is at home on self-isolation, where he will remain for the duration of his recovery. His residence location was not revealed.
  20. A 63-year old man who returned from travel to Florida on March 15, tested positive for Covid-19 on March 17. He is at home on self-isolation, where he will remain for the duration of his recovery. His residence location was not revealed.
  21. An 82-year old man tested positive for Covid-19 on March 17. He is currently hospitalized at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
  22. A 40-year old man returning from travel overseas and the United States on March 1, tested positive for Covid-19 on March 15. He is at home on self-isolation, where he will remain for the duration of his recovery. His residence location was not revealed.
  23. A 51-year-old woman returned from travel to New York state on March 9, tested positive for Covid-19 on March 14. She is at home on self-isolation, where she will remain for the duration of her recovery. Her residence location was not revealed.
  24. A 25-year-old woman, the daughter of the case above, also returned from travel to New York state on March 9, and tested positive for Covid-19 on March 14. She is at home on self-isolation, where she will remain for the duration of her recovery. Her residence location was not revealed.
  25. A 60-year-old woman who returned from travel overseas on March 9, tested positive for Covid-19 on March 13. She is at home on self-isolation, where she will remain for the duration of her recovery. Her residence location was not revealed.
  26. A 57-year-old male, the husband of the case above, also returned from travel overseas on March 9, and tested positive for Covid-19 on March 13. He is at home on self-isolation, where he will remain for the duration of his recovery. His residence location was not revealed.
  27. A 72-year-old woman who returned from travel overseas on March 8, tested positive for Covid-19 on March 13. She is at home on self-isolation, where she will remain for the duration of her recovery. Her residence location was not revealed.
  28. A 51-year-old woman who returned from travel to Iran on February 22, tested positive on February 29. She is at home on self-isolation, where she will remain for the duration of her recovery. Her residence location was not revealed.
  29. The 69-year-old husband of the case above, also tested positive for Covid-19 on February 29. He is at home on self-isolation, where he will remain for the duration of his recovery. His residence location was not revealed.
