Downed tree, crash force road closures in Scugog, Pickering

Over the weekend a downed tree forced a road closure between Scugog and Uxbridge while a collision in Pickering led to the temporary closure of part of Kingston Road and Brock Road.

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) announced a road closure on Saturday of Regional Road 21 between Marsh Hill Road and Highway 7/12 in the north.

The road closure was due to downed tree, it said. The roadway has reopened. Thank you for your cooperation, police later said.

Kingston Road

Kingston Road was closed in both directions at Brock Road in Pickering on Friday.

Brock Road was also closed to south bound traffic from Finch Avenue for a collision investigation.

Thank you for avoiding the area, police said.
