Driver caught going 100kmh over limit on highway

Officers from Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) caught a driver doing 100lmh over the speed limit on a highway.

Northern Division officers stopped the car at Highway 7a and Island Road for driving at 183kmh in an 80-zone.

The driver was charged with stunt driving, as well as having cannabis readily available. The car and driver’s licence were seized.

No reason to be driving this fast, said the police.
