The update on all roads, facility, and parks construction currently underway in 2022, was presented at a council meeting on June 27 by staff.

“Thank you to staff for providing such a tremendous update on the status of active and upcoming projects and initiatives improving our roads, sidewalks, new playgrounds and parks and new pedestrian cross walks. I am very proud of the hard work of both council and staff in delivering so much despite the pandemic and related challenges. Thank you for all your efforts,” said Mayor Bobbie Drew of Scugog.

The Township of Scugog is the second largest geographic area of the eight regional municipalities with 413 centreline kilometres (km) of road network under the purview of a small staff compliment.
