A Durham driver was arrested, lost his car for seven days, and had his licence suspended on careless driving and other charges.
On June 27 at about 6pm, police officers responded to a call for a Chevrolet pickup truck that had lost control, struck two vehicles and a residential garage, causing extensive damage.
Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) East Division officers arrested a 52-year old male of Courtice. He was charged with operation of a conveyance – BAC, exceed 80 or above, and careless driving.
Investigators impounded the vehicle for seven days and the driver’s license was suspended for 90 days, said a police statement.
