Three dead and woman, child in hospital after crash

Three people were killed in a collision in Brock Township on Friday morning.

On July 1 at about 11:20 am, officers from North Division were called to Lakeridge Road North of Thorah Concession 4 in Brock Township for a two-vehicle collision. Three people were pronounced deceased at the scene, and two suffered serious injuries. The two parties were transported to a Toronto-area trauma center.

Members of the DRPS Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The roads in the area were closed for several hours while evidence was collected, said a police statement.

Police said the fatal collision claimed the life of three adults (one female and two males) in one vehicle. A female adult and a child suffered serious injuries in a second vehicle.
