Driver with mask had no Covid-19 symptoms

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday said that a driver wearing a mask was not symptomatic of Covid-19 infection.

“The female driver in an overnight collision in Oshawa, who was wearing a mask, didn’t display symptoms of Covid-19, as initially reported,” DRPS said in a tweet.

“She was wearing a mask but was not advised to self isolate. We apologize for any misunderstanding,” it added.
