Two suspects are facing charges following the seizure of drugs during a search warrant in Oshawa.
On Thursday, July 15, members from the Central West Community Response Team concluded a drug trafficking investigation. Officers executed a search warrant at a residence on Douglas Langtree Drive, as well as on two vehicles. During the search, officers seized approximately $4,700 cash, and drugs including fentanyl, cocaine, meth, crack cocaine and oxycodone worth an estimated $23,000, said a police statement.
Joshua Peters, age 23 of Douglas Langtree drive, in Oshawa, is charged with: Possession of Schedule I for Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine); Trafficking (cocaine); Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5,000; Possession for Purpose of Trafficking (oxycodone); Possession for Purpose of Trafficking (meth); Possession for Purpose of Trafficking (crack cocaine) and Possession for Purpose of Trafficking (fentanyl).
Kelly Hunter, age 22 of Douglas Langtree drive, in Oshawa, is charged with: Possession of Schedule I for Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine); Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5,000; Possession for Purpose of Trafficking (oxycodone); Possession for Purpose of Trafficking (meth); Possession for Purpose of Trafficking (crack cocaine) and Possession for Purpose of Trafficking (fentanyl).
They were held for a bail hearing.
