Drugs seized after traffic stop in Oshawa

Three suspects were arrested in a stolen truck and over $15,000 in drugs were seized during a traffic stop in Oshawa on Sunday

On March 15  at about 9:40 pm, members of Central East Division stopped a stolen U-Haul truck in the area of Fairbanks Street in Oshawa. Three male occupants were arrested and police seized approximately $15,000 in crystal methamphetamine, as well as fentanyl, oxycocet and brass knuckles. The vehicle was reported to have been stolen in Durham region.

James McDonald, age 34 of Wolfe Street in Oshawa, Gordon Johnson, age 36 of Oshawa and Jonathan Miller, age 35 of Dovedale Drive in Whitby face a combined 18 charges including: Possession of Property Obtained by Crime; Possession of Prohibited Weapon; Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (crystal-meth) and Possession of Schedule I Substance (fentanyl). They were later released on an Undertaking.
