Durham Region Health Department yesterday said it had 150 cases of Covid-19 reported since February 29, 2020.
The count on March 31 had stood at 111 cases.
Of these, 26 are hospitalized. Among cases in Durham Region, there have been 6 deaths; of these deaths, 2 have occurred in residents living in long-term care homes or retirement homes.
To date, there have been 14 people diagnosed with Covid-19 who have recovered from their illness, Durham Health said.
