Durham Police ask for public help to solve a crime

Durham Police have appealed to the public to help solve a crime that took place early last month in Whitby.

Police said on October 10, around 6:40 am, a male suspect entered a victim’s vehicle and stole his wallet and set of golf clubs.

The incident tool place on Regal Briar street in Whitby.

A short time after, police said the suspect was captured on surveillance video entering the Metro Grocery Store and a Shell gas station. The suspect made several purchases using the stolen credit/bank cards.

He is described as male, White, with orange construction reflective vest, black hat, work boots, heavy build.
