Durham Regional Police has received copies of Islam and Hindu holy books.
Imam Shakir Pandor and Pandit Rabindranath Tiwari presented the DRPS with a copy of the Qur’an and the Bhagavad Gita respectively.
New members of the DRPS now also have the option of swearing their oath with the holy books.
“Thank you for this kind offering to our organization,” said DRPS.
