Durham Region Police Service (DRPS) four-legged members will once again grace the pages of the DRPS 2020 K-9 Calendar.
The launch will take place Thursday October 10, from 10 am at Pet Smart in Whitby (Victoria Street). This year all proceeds will be donated to Alzheimer Society Durham, The Animal Guardian Society (TAGS) and Epilepsy Durham Region.
Over the past five years approximately $185,000 has been raised for local agencies through calendar sales.
The calendars will be available to purchase for $20 at Thursday’s launch and online through website at drps.ca. They will also be available at DRPS divisions and at the Police Education and Innovation Centre (located inside Durham College), as well as a variety of community partners. A full list of locations will be available on drps.ca following the launch.
Representatives from DRPS and several members of the K-9 Unit will be on hand for the launch, along with members of the local agencies.
