The Kids’ Safety Village is celebrating the holiday season by welcoming community members to the first of four festive evenings today.
Starting at 5 pm, the Village, which includes 26 miniature buildings and storefronts, will be decorated in the spirit of the season. Revelers can enjoy free hot chocolate and live entertainment, create festive decorations, and meet members of Durham Regional Police in the police station and firefighters in the village fire hall. Santa will also make an appearance to meet with kids.
The event is free to the public and held between 5-8 pm on the following days:
- Thursday November 21
- Friday November 22
- Saturday November 23
- Thursday November 28
- Friday November 29
- Saturday November 30
Donations to support the KSV will be graciously accepted. Monday through Thursday the buildings will be lit for the public to walk through as well.
