A fire broke out in an Oshawa home yesterday afternoon, according to Oshawa Fire Services
“Oshawa Firefighters on scene in the area of Grandview st S and Down Cres for a working house fire. Please stay clear of the area,” said an Oshawa Fire Services advisory around 4 pm.
Within an hour the fire was extinguished.
“House fire was confirmed at 760 Down Cres. Fire has been extinguished crews remain on scene at this time…Please stay clear of Townline Rd S and Down Cres,” said another advisory an hour later.
The area was cleared a couple of hours later.
“Crews are clear of 760 Down Cres,” said Oshawa Fire Services.
