Shooting victim found in Pickering in ‘serious’ condition

Toronto Police is appealing to the public to help with the shooting and attempted murder investigation, in which a victim was found by durham Police in a Pickering parking lot.

On Saturday, November 9, at 9:10 pm, Toronto Police responded to a call for a shooting in the Kingston Road and Port Union Road area.

It is reported that the occupants of two cars, both described as white sedans, fired several shots at each other. The cars were last seen travelling northbound on Port Union Road towards Highway 401.

A short time later, a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds was located by Durham Regional Police. He was transported to a trauma centre with serious injuries.

Investigators are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.

Any motorists with dashcam footage, that were in the area at the time, are also urged to review the footage and contact officers with any relevant information.
