Fleeing suspect taken down, drugs seized

On June 16, at 10 p.m., in Richmind street/Ontario street in Oshawa members of DRPS stopped a male on a bicycle in relation to a drug investigation.

Officers briefly pursued the male on foot before taking him into custody. Police seized drugs (crystal meth, fentanyl, and cocaine) from him.

The 34-year-old male faces charges of Possession for the purpose of Trafficking (cocaine); Possession for the purpose of Trafficking (fentanyl); Possession for the purpose of Trafficking (crystal meth); and Obstruct Peace Officer as well as Highway Traffic Act offences. He was released on an undertaking.
