On May 31, at around 10:30 am, DRPS officers spotted an Audi southbound on Westney Road, Ajax with a stolen validation sticker.
An officer attempted to stop the vehicle, but it fled from the police. The suspect vehicle was eventually stopped and the suspect was arrested after a brief foot pursuit.
A 31-year-old male of Toronto was charged with: Dangerous operation of a conveyance, flight from peace officer, possession of property obtained by crime, obstruct peace officer, assault a peace officer and rove while under suspension and operate motor vehicle without insurance.
