Four armed men jump pharmacy counter to rob drugs

Durham Police investigators are looking for several suspects who robbed a pharmacy Monday afternoon in Oshawa.

On October 18 at about 3:20 p.m., four male suspects entered the Eastview IDA Pharmacy on King Street armed with knives. They jumped the pharmacy counter and made a demand for drugs. They took an undisclosed amount of prescription drugs before fleeing to an awaiting vehicle. Two staff members received minor injuries after being assaulted, said a police statement.

All four suspects were described as male, Black, average height and slim builds. They wore masks and one wore a blue sweater and white pants. The vehicle is described as a dark Nissan SUV.

Anyone with dash-cam video or any new information about this incident is asked to contact the Major Crime Robbery Unit at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 5355.
